You will be counted on help maintain an integral client relationship. Assist in troubleshooting client systems, install av equipment, cabling, rack building, delegate and lead a team. This is a key position to help us succeed and grow our business.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates for the Lead Integration Technician position should possess the following skills, traits, and certifications:
- Has three or more years of experience in the AV industry
- Licensed OR limited-energy electrician
- (candidates without a license may also be considered)
- Familiar with the products and technologies used in the AV industry including digital switching systems, audio & video conferencing, video wall technologies, display and projection systems, audio DSP technology, and commercial audio systems.
- Expert at termination, equipment integration, cable dressing, and rack fabrication
- Demonstrates a good understanding of how to route and secure structured cabling
- Experience integrating into a wide variety of building types
- Ability to setup and deploy configurations and site files
- Able to think on your feet and present possible solutions to challenges in the field
- Puts safety, quality and the customer above all else
- Can manage a team and create a constructive work environment on-site
- Has strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Can read and understand engineered drawings including floor plans, elevations, and schematics
- Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and Office
- Experience with testing and commissioning of systems a plus
- Networking experience a plus
- DMC, CTS, and other industry certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- As an integral part of our team you will be responsible for:
- Attend kick-off meetings and help develop a plan for completion
- Integration of design / build systems
- Rack fabrication, pulling and dressing of cables, terminations
- Meeting with inspectors for on-site cover and final inspections
- Managing on-site workload, developing tasks & punch lists for the crew
- Maintain as-built record drawings and file daily reports back to Project Mangers
- Coordinate with clients and trades on-site to get tasks done effectively and on-time
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Perform routine checks of equipment and stock levels
- Test and troubleshoot systems
- System demonstration and training of clients
- Participate in the advancement and development of
- Some travel and off-hours work will be required
